Pros

1. Compensation is good. 2.Set up depends on how you are distant to the office. Mostly WFH / Hybrid.

Cons

1. Silo culture 2. People who stayed for too long in the company tend to bypass such responsibilities that they are not assigned to. 3. Micromanaging is rampant in the company. 4. The boss is blind when it comes on what is happening to the company. 5. The project manager who was hired in 2022 was the worst manager I have ever had. a. Blaming game is his daily routine. b. Power tripping c. Credit grabber d. Close minded e. If you go against him you will be tagged "Insubordination" f. Always do under the table transaction when it comes to conflict between the other senior position g. Always prioritize his ideas h. Don't know how to handle a team always go berserk if they didn't follow his failed plans. 6. HR department cannot do anything to fix the internal issues between the employees 7. The employee especially assigned in team were too discredited if they were late on the deadline. 8, Don't waste your time here the company doesn't value work and life balance. 9. Employees here from different department do not collaborate and tend to think that you are a threat to them if you suggested a better solution to the project issues.

Pros

Salary is good and there is OT Pay

Cons

No work-life balance because of long working hours, weekend work, and holiday work, some managers MICROMANAGE, time in/out take pictures of you and your location, the boss have bad attitude and he curse you during meeting, all teams in the project play the blame game because we fear that the boss will terminate us, there is a lot of politics involved. The work is very stressful, draining, and you must have mental fortitude to deal with all these bullshits.

Pros

Have adaptable work schedule options

Cons

Projects consistently face unrealistic deadlines, fostering a toxic work culture. Compelled to work extra hours, including weekends, including holidays to meet deadlines. The project requirements are often unclear, incomplete, and poorly documented, deviating from industry-standard development processes. Developer managers show a lack of concern, contributing to an overwhelming workload that leads to burnout. Opportunities for growth, promised initially, rarely come to fruition. The absence of clear leadership and communication exacerbates the challenges faced in this work environment. Those overseeing the project tend to present a more positive picture of the project status when reporting to upper management. Product Owners exhibits unprofessional behavior. Ineffective employee departure procedures. No annual salary adjustments despite satisfactory performance. Human Resources staff displays a lack of concern for their employees.
