      Pros

      Eric is a decent designer; Mimi prefers to belittle employees to offset her own shortcomings as a designer.

      Cons

      Eric & Mimi solicited Glassdoor reviews from current/former employees who were their "pets" to boost their rating. Be wary of trusting these positive reviews or Mimi/Eric's saccharine charm when interviewing; it won't take long until their true personalities surface.

      Great Experience, Horrible Workplace Environment

      Pros

      Great place to get a well-rounded experience at an architecture + design firm. Scale of projects and size of firm allows for all employees to learn a wide range of skills and contribute to a number of interesting projects.

      Cons

      The office culture can be very negative and uncomfortable due to the personalities of the principals. The work environment is quite stressful and sometimes chaotic. Despite being extremely hard-working, employees were regularly put down & berated by the principals during design crits rather than constructive criticism being used to advance the successful completion of the project. There is a culture of fear rather than enthusiasm, which inevitably becomes untenable for employees.

      Pros

      The projects are challenging and the principals are very thoughtful about design decisions.

      Cons

      Make no mistake about it, this is a burnout office with over the top hours, lower than average pay, and mediocre benefits. Employees who understand they're own value won't stay for long.
