Enthusiastic colleagues from across the business stepped up to raise £1,620 for charity in a fun fitness challenge. The 2022 challenge saw more than 30 employees take part in a rowing and cycle relay with BiP matching the total amount of fundraising efforts. The athletes were cheered on by passing staff members and enjoyed a well earned pizza to finish off the day - well done team BiP!

On Friday 21st June, we held our Annual Employee Recognition Awards in The Village Hotel. The awards night, which is held every June, is very much the highlight of BiP's social event calendar and brings together all employees across our Glasgow and Manchester offices. In recognition of our 35th anniversary year, the Rubik Cubes, Scotland's leading 1980s party band provided the main entertainment for the evening. On the night, we celebrated the contribution of both individuals and teams from across the business who have contributed greatly to our achievements throughout the recently completed financial year. We would like to take this opportunity to once again congratulate our award winners: New employee of the Year - Chris Gandy Innovative Employee of the Year - Simon Inman & Thomas Robbins Team Manager of the Year - Graham McMath Sales Employee of the Year - Ryan Crawley Sales Team of the Year - Public Sector Sales Team of the Year - Accounts & Finance And lastly, Craig Gibson who won our Annual Outstanding Contribution Award - the showcase award of the night. Well deserved!

As a family-owned, value-led business, we understand the importance of developing positive relationships within our local communities. Over the last 12 months, we have focused on developing a close relationship with the University of Salford, which neighbours our office in Manchester. This partnership has not only provided both graduate and internship opportunities to their students, but has also been valuable to our business. Here's what our very own Sam Gilding has to say: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMPsm
In line with our growth plans, Jo McCallum was brought into BiP last year to further develop our Marketing function and evolve our execution with a digital first, customer-centric approach. In the last 12-months, we have invested into: • Internal/external training and development within the team • Redefining job roles and progression paths • Transforming the team structure to further support career advancement • Creating a modern and ‘agency feel’ working environment • Introducing a more flexible approach of working Whilst we recognise the progress made and are proud of the results that have followed, we don’t want to stop there. We know that continuous improvement is required, especially as we see the creation of new Marketing roles. There is an acknowledgement that due to the fast-paced and results-driven nature of the team, our opportunities might not be for everyone. However, if you are looking an organisation where you can really make a difference, while having full brand ownership and creative flexibility on how you achieve corporate objectives, please get in touch!
We recognize the importance of the talent planning of our sales professionals. To contribute towards our succession planning, we have introduced a training and development programme to allow graduates to develop a career within sales at BiP and share our ongoing success. The graduate programme, which has been incredibly successful since starting last year, has saw 4 of our graduates develop to the role Business Development Executive. The employees are now undertaking accredited sales training through Pareto. Want to be a part of this? Please email careers@bipsolutions.com to find out more about our graduate sales programme.
On Friday 25th January, BiP celebrated their 35th Anniversary with a Gala Dinner at the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow. With a mix of colleagues, key clients and special guests. the night provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate the continued growth of BiP…whilst also allowing a small trip down memory lane. It’s hard to believe that it was 5 years ago that we were celebrating our 30th Anniversary with a party at the Glasgow Science Centre (we like a party!). That night we took the opportunity to recognise and reward colleagues who had reached 15 / 20 & 25 years length of service milestones with some fantastic prizes. Our 35th Gala Dinner therefore provided the opportunity to recognise the new group of employees who had since reached their 15 year milestone. That group of 9 colleagues were each rewarded with a European City Break. In addition, we also took the opportunity to recognise two ex-colleagues who had contributed significantly to the success of BiP through the years with a special award. Thank you to everyone who attended. Roll on 2024!!
This year, we celebrate 35 years of BiP Solutions. Throughout 2019 we will be marketing the occasion with a number of celebratory initiatives, commencing with a formal Gala Dinner in the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow. Our 35th anniversary marks a great milestone and we hope to celebrate with employees and VIP guests on the evening!
BiP kicked off the festive season with our Children's Christmas Party. The party was a great success with plenty of presents, party games and even a visit from Santa himself! As we approach the festive break, BiP would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes.
