We’re incredibly proud to share that Elior UK has been shortlisted in two categories at this year's Springboard Awards for Excellence. HR Team of the Year Award – for the ongoing development of Chef School, our flagship culinary development programme creating clear career pathways and nationally recognised food production apprenticeships for our colleagues. Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award – in recognition of our Company-wide commitment to ED&I, championed from the top and focused on creating a culture where every one of our colleagues feel respected, included and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. Being selected from around 200 entries is a huge achievement for us and a real testament to the passion and dedication of our teams. At the same time, we also want to extend our congratulations to all the other organisations shortlisted in these categories and it’s fantastic to see so much great work being recognised across the industry. We look forward to celebrating with you at the awards ceremony in April.
This week we officially launched the fourth cohort on our Womentoring programme. This is our biggest cohort yet, bringing together 30 mentors and mentees, as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting and developing women across our business. Aligned with our ED&I objectives, Womentoring plays an important role for us at Elior, helping to build meaningful connections, share experiences, and empower women on their individual career journeys. A huge thank you to the team at London Business School for hosting us and for the fantastic lunch, and to our inspiring guest speaker Farah Kabir, co-founder of HANX for sharing her personal journey and powerful insights. Looking forward to seeing the impact this cohort will make in the months ahead!
We recently had the privilege of hosting a roundtable with our clients to explore how we can better support the care of individuals living with dementia at Caterplus. Key takeaways: • Person-led care – understanding individual needs, history and preferences • Culture of care – quality starts at the top, empowering teams • Thoughtful mealtimes – environment, sensory needs and tailored menus matter • Education – supporting teams and families to deliver compassionate care

Breaking News...A Triumph for Team Elior UK — and a Celebration of Our Global Culinary Family I’m absolutely delighted to share that today our Elior UK Culinary Team has won the 2025 Elior International Culinary Competition (Elior Chef Awards) at the iconic Le Cordon Bleu Institute in Paris . What an extraordinary experience — not just the result, but the journey. Standing alongside talented Elior chefs from India, the USA, Italy, Spain, and France reminded us that we are part of something bigger: a global family connected by passion, craft, and a deep respect for food. For our team, creating a menu judged by four Michelin-starred French chefs was an honour in itself. To be recognised by them is something we will carry throughout our careers: a defining moment built on teamwork and discipline. Competitions like this don’t just showcase culinary skill. They shape us. They strengthen bonds across borders. They remind us that growth comes from challenge — and that when we invest in talent, we invest in Elior’s future. Our commitment to excellence, the camaraderie that fuels us, and the belief that these moments elevate our entire organisation remain as strong as ever. To the 2025 team — your creativity, professionalism, and passion made us champions on the international stage! Onwards, together.
🎉 Huge congratulations to our incredibly talented Elior at Work Development Chef, Iestyn Paton, for winning StrEATfood Dish of the Year at this year’s hashtag#StreEATfood Awards! 🏆 Iestyn wowed the judges with his innovative concept, Fratelli Sandos – golden folded sourdough pizza sandos filled with slow-cooked pulled pork, crisp fennel & apple slaw, roasted chilli salsa, salsa verde, and topped with aged Parmesan. 🔥🍴 We’re excited to announce that this mouthwatering concept will soon be rolling out in our sites and we can’t wait for more people to experience Iestyn’s amazing creation! Well done, Iestyn. A well-deserved win and a fantastic example of the innovation and passion in our culinary team. And for those of you that remember the classic PacMan game, why not have a try at the innovative Pizza Hunt game created alongside the concept entry. Collect the ingredients and try to avoid the rival Van. https://ow.ly/L0PU50X8inT
