In line with our net zero goals, we have calculated the carbon footprint of each of our recipes, categorising them as low, medium or high carbon impact. These are calculated using industry data which covers 2517 agricultural and food products. Our teams have been given an in-depth guide that explains how to access these values and the most effective ways to display them by dish. There is also an eye-catching poster to accompany the carbon labels to explain the carbon labels to customers. Carbon labels are a valuable tool to empower our customers understand the environmental impact of the food they eat. Last week, our Elior UK team had the opportunity to join colleagues from France and Spain for a Conext innovation meeting, with Boris Derichebourg joining the session to hear updates and support the teams. Three UK project teams presented exciting updates on their initiatives, showcasing fresh thinking, creativity and purpose. In true Conext spirit, innovation wasn’t just in the content. The entire session was hosted on Teams using Copilot’s live translation, enabling seamless multilingual discussion across borders. It's Men's Mental Health Week and an ideal time to highlight an initiative that's directly supporting our commitment to a safe and healthy workplace environment. Led by our Head of Communications, Andy Grant, Andy’s Macc Club is an initiative launched earlier this year at our Macclesfield Head Office, taking its inspiration from Andy's Man Club, a national charity that is doing remarkable work in breaking down the stigma around Men's Mental Health. Following an initial get together in the office, some of the group took advantage of the good weather for a beautiful walk and talk in Macclesfield Forest.
