HSG CHARITY EVENT – A huge congratulations to members of our London office who took part in the MoonWalk on Saturday. They took to the streets of London and walked 26.2 miles throughout the night to help raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer. A few sore feet and a little sleep deprived but such a deserving charity they have raised money for! Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Over 55,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK. Thanks to research, more people are surviving breast cancer than ever before, yet there are still nearly 1,000 women who die of breast cancer every month in the UK. HSG are very proud to have been involved in this event. We would really appreciate your help and support in raising money for this great charity. Any amount no matter the size will make a difference. HSG’S WELL-BEING PROGRAMME – Members of our London office were treated to our second well-being session last Friday. Initiated and facilitated by HSG host Zofia Sharman who heads our HR practice and is HSG’s well-being ambassador, this second topic was on ‘Stress’. The session began with a ten minute gentle breath meditation from Aromatherapist Laura Hoy where we learnt the importance of connection and also how our sense of smell changes as our breath changes and we become more settled. Later Laura conducted a sensory workshop where we enjoyed feeling the textures of beeswax and shea butter and learning about the healing properties of essential oils where we got to make our very own bespoke healing balm to take home. We learned how scent can help with connection, focus or revival in times when we feel stressed or anxious at work. The delicious nut balls and lavender scented crackers were also a hit needless to say! Our special thanks to Laura. The whole event got another big thumbs up from the HSG executive leadership team who are all super keen to drive these sessions.
