73 years ago, on the 22nd June 1948, the Empire Windrush arrived at Tilbury Docks, carrying over a thousand men, women and children from the Caribbean to help rebuild post-war Britain. This week we held a Windrush day lunch and learn panel where we were joined by Patrick Vernon OBE, who started the campaign to get Windrush day recognised as an observed day. The session was informative, insightful and inspiring. Thank you to everyone involved in organising this event.❤️ #WeAreKantar #WindrushDay
