We're so proud of the ways which our people support those in their local communities: ♡ School supplies ♡ Blood bank donations ♡ River cleanups Thank you for giving back to those around you, while looking after your own mental health in the process!
Feelings of grief are a natural response to loss. The feelings of loss aren't always brought on by the death of a loved one, but could be in response to the loss of anything you love being taken away. Lesser known causes of grief could be divorce, retirement, loss of a job or selling your family home. Whatever causes the loss, the pain of loss can be overwhelming. If you're experiencing loss or grief, Coping with Grief and Loss by the charity Helping Guide can help you to understand your feelings and avenues of support available to you.

We are joining with others to help raise awareness for ethics and ensure that ethics matter – whether in the daily lives of individuals, the decisions of businesses like our own, or through the formation of laws and policies. On #GlobalEthicsDay2021 we are asking the question - what does ethics mean to you? For us at Morgan ethics and ethical conduct is an extension of our culture. It’s about how we learn to live together, celebrate our differences, and face the global challenges of today and tomorrow. Join us this Global Ethics Day and help use the power of ethics to build a better future.
We all have a role to play in ensuring that our interconnected world will be safer and more resilient. Empower your friends, colleagues and family to do your part and be cyber smart. Learn how to stay safe online.
We all experience loneliness from time to time. Some of us are content in our own company, while others feel best when keeping in touch with their loved ones every day. While loneliness itself isn't a mental health problem, it can lead to other difficulties such as anxiety or social phobia. Make some time to reach out to your favourite people today, a call from you could really brighten someone's day!
As part of our 2021 mental health month, we're sharing some of the steps we have taken at Morgan to support the wellbeing of our people, in the past 12 months. Our US and UK employee assistance programmes have been introduced, to support our people (and their families) with their health and wellbeing. Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, our programmes are designed to support our people in terms of need, with guidance on relationship issues, childcare support, financial wellbeing, stress/anxiety and family issues. Just one of the ways we're trying to encourage our people to focus on and talk about their own mental health.
Since the start of 2020 we have all been subject to many changes in our approach to working. For some of us that meant increased safety and checks on sites, for others than meant home became the new office. We recognise that these changes have had both positive and negative impacts, and we're keen to retain the positive ones. That's why we are proud of the progress we have made to help employees work towards a good work-life balance, through the continuation of hybrid working, where possible. Many of our people have forged a new approach to their work, managing their time successfully between the office and home; helping work to fit with their other priorities.
We all feel better after a good night's sleep, but getting that all important shut-eye isn't always easy. Use Very Well Mind's sleep hygiene tips to get a more restful night #MentalHealthAwareness #NapTime #ReadyToTakeOnTheWorld
We're all familiar with taking care of our own hygiene, but staying safe online means that we need to take care of our cyber hygiene too. Staying safe while online can seem like a challenge, but there are things that we can all do to protect our data and keep our information secured when we're online.
