Last Friday (September 8th) the Northern Trust team attended a virtual networking event called 'Girls Who Code Virtual Hiring Summit', hosted by the organization Girls Who Code whose aim is to close the gender gap in the technology space. During the hiring summit, the team were able to network, virtually, with hundreds of women and diverse tech talent that were present throughout the event. Here is how the team got on… “The Girls Who Code Hiring Summit was a very creative way to pull together diverse, powerhouse talent and employers in a digital environment. The ability to connect with several participants at once amplified the impact this event will make on Northern Trust’s early career Technology talent pipeline.” Jessica Lopez – Senior HR Business Partner.
