Stress Awareness Month As we welcome stress awareness month this April, we are sharing resources, guides, toolkits and tips with our employees to boost their mental wellbeing. This year’s theme ‘Little by little’, championed by the Stress Management Society, highlights the value of manageable, daily actions that collectively make a significant difference. Their diverse range of resources, from stress management guides to interactive workshops, are designed to support and inspire our journey towards a better mental health. Mental Health UK advocates for a blend of creativity, outdoor activities, exercise, and mindfulness to combat stress. And the NHS offers advice on identifying stress and tips for managing it, with resources such as self-help Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques. They also provide a ‘Mind Plan’ which tailors suggestions to individuals needs on a quick questionnaire. We are encouraging our staff to utilise these resources to foster a culture of support and resilience, encouraging every individual to take meaningful steps towards managing stress one small change at a time.
