We’re pleased to report that the British Army's 'Army Warfighting Experiment’ (AWE23) programme has successfully demonstrated two experimental systems at the indoor Uncrewed Airborne System (UAS) facility at MOD Boscombe Down. The facility allowed the de-risking of flight trials on unproven systems and provided the flexibility to efficiently switch between platforms and test serials. We are delighted to be supporting the Royal Navy in the Vampire programme, providing a Vampire uncrewed air vehicle (our Banshee Jet 80+) to assist the development of their future Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations. As part of this programme, we assisted the Royal Navy as they launched their first Vampire from Predannack Airfield in Cornwall. After passing through its assigned waypoints out to sea, it returned to Predannack after 30 minutes, deploying a parachute to land back on the airfield.
