For the fourth year running, Citizens Advice has ranked Royal Mail first in its parcels league table, and that's all thanks to the incredible effort of our teams across the UK. This achievement reflects the dedication of thousands of colleagues who work every day to make sending, returning, and collecting parcels easier and more convenient for our customers. We're proud to operate the UK's largest out-of-home network, with over 24,000 parcel points in shops, lockers, and parcel postboxes - and we're aiming for 45,000 by 2030. That means more choice and accessibility for communities everywhere. And as we head into Christmas, our teams across the UK are stepping up once again for the busiest weeks of the year. We’re bringing in extra people, opening additional parcel sorting centres and putting more vans on the road. It's all about delivering for everyone, everywhere and none of it would be possible without the commitment and teamwork of everyone at Royal Mail.
Innovation and responsibility go hand in hand, and we're leading by example in the fight against climate change. We've cut emissions per parcel by 20% and deployed our 7,000th electric vehicle in the past year - and we're not stopping there in our commitment to reach Net-Zero by 2040.
