We’re delighted to be included on the shortlist for the Company of the Year award at the 2021 European Diversity Awards. The accolade recognises companies that demonstrate a long-term commitment to equality and have delivered significant progress in creating a diverse and inclusive workspace. As the only global pure-play STEM talent recruiter we have a personal responsibility to ourselves, our clients and the STEM markets we serve to ensure DE&I is at the heart of everything we do. We aim to find, develop and retain great talent, knowing that great doesn’t look, think or act alike.
We’ve listened to our colleagues across the businesses and have outlined our hybrid working plans. These will allow our people around the globe to work a combination of some days in the office and some days at home. The pandemic has forced businesses to change the way they operate on a daily basis. One change that is here to stay is flexible working, as it’s something that’s now expected of employers. At SThree, we’ve made sure everyone has the technology required to successfully carry out their roles remotely. However, with some governments now putting timelines in place for the re-opening of office spaces it’s vital that we’re prepared for what comes next.
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Our people around the world are poised. Ready to take on what has become a legendary SThree challenge - Take 50. The idea is to take £50 (or equivalent currency) and use our ingenuity and entrepreneurial flair to turn it into hundreds, or even thousands, of pounds. Last year we had pie fights, auctions, raffles, glamour events and much more to turn £2,000 into £37,000! Question is...can we make 2020 an even bigger success? Well, we'll certainly try. Because every penny we raise will go to our charity partners, African Science Academy. Ready more about how we support this fantastic cause that helps girls in Ghana pursue their dream of working in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

We're passionate about giving back to the communities that we live and work in - and supporting STEM causes close to our hearts. For us, CSR is about more than handing over a big cheque. It's about charity partnerships, inclusion activities, carbon reduction and sustainable procurement. That's one of the reasons that we've been shortlisted for the CSR Initiative of the Year at the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) Awards.

“All of our SThree Foundation awardees have been personally nominated by our own people, who appreciate the importance of such an investment and how life changing the rewards can be for those who go on to secure a skilled STEM role. While demand for STEM roles continues to outpace available talent on a global scale it is vital that more people have access to such a career path. “The talented young people we support through this initiative will play their own part in building a better future for us all and I wish them every success.” - Mark Dorman, CEO http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMBtD
