He collaborated with Marketing and artist MDM Customs to create the coolest sneakers we've ever see, featuring our brand colors, logo and the iconic triangular pattern from our HQ wall. Say hello to our Supply Chain Team! Made up of our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), Production Lab, Procurement and Logistics Teams, this group operates as our global support structure. They ensure we're delivering reliable hardware for our maintenance organization. This team leverages our internally developed OnDeck® Predictive Sparing® system to identify common high-fail parts to provide our engineers and customers with what they need, when and where they need it. As this team focuses on supporting company growth, they remain committed to our purpose of providing the best experience for our customers, partners and employees. They treat every challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow. Congratulations to Heather Dinho for achieving her #peoplepowered goal of moving from Connecticut to Michigan! Over the last 3 years, Heather and her husband have discussed taking an adventure and moving from Connecticut, the only place she's ever called home. Initially, their hearts were set on North Carolina, but after visiting our Grand Rapids HQ in 2022, Heather called her husband, saying Grand Rapids might be a contender. She says, "The more I would come to Grand Rapids for work, the more I realized I wanted to be here full-time. I get incredible energy from being here and in person with my team." After conquering all the moving logistics and making the 12-hour drive, they were relieved to unpack the last box and settle into their new home. Heather says, "While moving away from my family and friends wasn't the easiest choice, taking a leap of faith and pursuing this adventure is one of the best gifts I have given myself." As a people person, Heather looks forward to being in person and interacting with others in the office. Even after just a few weeks, she says she's already started developing deeper relationships with her team and peers. Congratulations, Heather, and welcome to Grand Rapids. We wish you & your husband continued success and fulfillment in your new chapter!
Congratulations to Technical Solutions Advisor Duane Meadows for receiving one of our 2024 Thomas Crowell Influence Awards! In 2020, we lost Thomas Crowell, a beloved friend, colleague and member of our people-powered team. We've honored his impact through our annual Thomas Crowell Influence Award. The recipients, like Thomas, display exceptional character and positively impact our culture. Duane joined Service Express in 2009. During his tenure, he's stood out to those around him through his positivity and willingness to help others. His peers say, "Duane always has a positive, fun-loving and upbeat attitude," and "He's always willing to help and does so with a smile, no matter the day or time." In addition to his positivity, Duane's hard work, initiative, and team-player mentality have made a tremendous impact. His team member says, "He is vital and critical to our success thus far." When asked what this recognition means to him, Duane says, "Having known and worked with Thomas, it is a great and humbling honor. I could never truly measure up to the way Thomas brought joy to those he interacted with, but it gives me something to strive for."
Throughout February, our Service Express Cares Council hosted its first Step Challenge, a friendly competition between our North American and European team members. The teams counted their steps to see who would be the first to complete the 3,798-mile distance between our US and UK headquarters. A weekly leaderboard and progress update engaged our team members company-wide, and the groups kept each other motivated throughout the month, sharing updates and photos. Congratulations to our US team for being the first to accomplish the distance! Both teams knocked it out of the park, completing well over the goal: -North America: 7,660.38 miles - Europe: 6,387.25 miles Thank you to our Service Express Cares Council for supporting people's well-being and creating new ways to build connections globally.

After making the decision to leave teaching to pursue a career in sales, Cody found himself at a company where the environment didn't match his expectations.
