Recently, we attended the Production Futures event at the AO Arena in Manchester, where some of our managers and operational staff spoke with young adults passionate about a career in the live events industry. Production Futures is such a brilliant event for people at the start of their journeys, and we were delighted to sponsor the event, as well as support local Manchester people through Event Stewarding opportunities.
Earlier this month, with support from our longstanding client, AO Arena, the Showsec Training team hosted a full-day upskilling program for our casual workforce, including pit training, enhanced customer service and conflict awareness, Raven event management systems, and venue familiarisation. Additional options for our SIA-licensed staff included Showsec Incident Response and Entry Screening Training delivered by specialists from Evolv Technology. In just one day, we delivered 145 individual upskills across 14 training sessions. This outcome demonstrates how our staff continue to share Showsec’s dedication to excellence and raising industry standards. On Sunday, hundreds of people gathered in Manchester City Centre for the annual Lunar New Year celebrations to mark the start of the "Year of the Fire Horse". The celebration which has found a home in Manchester for its 3rd consecutive year, featured live performances, street food, and a dragon parade. A sincere thanks to our team who worked with the local authority to keep everyone safe during the celebrations.

Travis Scott made a 2-day stop at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, India as part of his Circus Maximus World Tour, and the fans loved it! Over 123,000 people turned up over the two days, making it the largest rap concerts to ever take place in India. Showsec Team members were present at the Delhi concert to provide crowd management consultancy through BookMyShow, helping to make sure the events were safe and enjoyable for everyone.
