Oasis Live 25: A Monumental Undertaking and a Proud Moment for Showsec Now that the crowds have cleared, we’re taking a moment to look back on what has been one of Manchester’s most iconic events. Showsec was proud to take the lead on the security and crowd management operation with our friends from SES for Oasis Live 25 - five massive shows across ten days, with over 340,000 Oasis fans in attendance. A project of this scale, complexity and visibility couldn't have happened without meticulous planning, expert coordination, and a full-team effort from start to finish. We deployed over 950 staff per day, clocking up over 5,600 shifts in total - one of our biggest deployments this year. We are proud of our high profile role in the security operation from the event’s inception. Our Co-CEO, Mark Logan, took on the role of Head of Security for the series of shows, Tom Bailey CMgr FCMI Doctoral Researcher (Regional Manager) assisted in writing the crowd and security management plan while Craig Bennett (Regional Manager) worked with SES and PES on the deployment across the site. From planning to delivery, it was an all-in effort and none of it would’ve been possible without the skill, professionalism and stamina of our partners, managers, supervisors and frontline staff. Through early starts, late finishes, quick turnarounds and classic northern weather, they kept things moving and the event running safely.
Music fans attend live events to enjoy themselves, and our teams play an important role in making that possible!🫶 We could tell you how good we are, but it’s better coming from someone who’s experienced it first hand. #ShowsecShoutouts #Showsec
