Each year, we recognise TSB colleagues who have gone above and beyond, helping their colleagues, our customers and their communities, with a Pride of TSB Award and an invitation to Pride of Britain. Here are some of their amazing stories
Why We Celebrate Black History Month In October, we sat down to talk with some of our Partners about why we celebrate Black History Month. Throughout the business we’re opening up spaces to listen, to discuss and to carve out a future that we can all be proud of.
We believe that there's more to good banking than money. And we're proud to be the first high street bank in the UK to be accredited by the Good Business Charter as a company with fair, ethical and responsible business practices. We're excited to be sharing our Do What Matters plan from our CEO Debbie Crosbie, which sets out the difference we can make in the communities we operate in.
We all know that finance isn’t always an accessible industry for young people to get into. But it’s undeniable that the whole sector benefits from the ideas of people from diverse backgrounds. That’s why this summer we’re joined by six young Londoners from The Brokerage, a social mobility charity helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds achieve their career potential. #paidinternships #socialmobility #inclusion

Today, TSB has signed the Time to Change Pledge – cementing our commitment to tackling the stigma associated with mental health. The Time to Change Pledge, which is run by the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, commits signatories to an action plan to drive change in attitudes and behaviours towards people facing mental health problems. TSB’s Time to Change action plan aims to create a working environment where everyone working at the Bank feels able to talk openly about mental health and gets the support they need. This includes: • Making mental health awareness training available to everyone working at TSB. • Building a network of mental health first aiders in the workplace. • Normalising conversations about mental health by encouraging Partners, including senior leaders at the Bank, to share personal mental health experiences. Iain Laing, Chief Risk Officer and Executive Sponsor for Wellbeing at TSB, says: "Talking about mental health isn’t a taboo. In fact, it’s something we encourage. Because no-one should feel the needs to say, “I’m fine” when they’re not.”
