Welcome to Yasmin Haynes, the newest member of our London team. Yasmin joins Berkeley after nine years at Accenture, where she specialised in leading data and technology projects across the utilities and energy sectors. During her time there, she wore many hats - working alongside her clients to establish new teams and ways of working, deliver new technologies and harness the power of data and AI to achieve business objectives and goals. Alongside her client work, Yasmin was actively involved in Accenture’s Health & Wellbeing and Inclusion & Diversity initiatives, as well as their UK Committee and Graduate Analyst leadership team. She is looking forward to bringing her experience to new clients and industries whilst contributing to the Berkeley community. We were thrilled to host a panel of senior leaders who provided fascinating insights and perspectives on this year’s International Women’s Day theme, ‘Give to Gain’. We heard how they have benefited from effective forms of support throughout their careers, the different ways they champion others - including the reminder that representing someone when they’re not in the room can be one of the kindest and most powerful acts - and their views on the metrics that signal meaningful change. It was a truly authentic, inspiring and motivational discussion that lasted long into the evening, so thank you to our panelists Ali Dyer, Emily Shepperd, Katy Cardwell, Merel van den Boomen and Ruth Ovens. And thank you to everyone who joined us and made it a fantastic event!
Welcome to the newest members of our Berkeley team, Tate Crenshaw who joins us in New York and Abbie Jefferson who joins us in London! Tate is joining Berkeley after six years in Accenture Song's Design and Digital Products practice where he focused on CX design, product management and product operating model transformation. He has worked across telecom, wealth management, streaming and pharmaceuticals with his most recent work leading implementation of Gen AI use cases across M&A, Finance and HR business functions. Abbie joins after nine years in consulting, leaving PwC's Workforce practice where she focused on large-scale workforce and technology transformation. She worked primarily with legal and professional services clients to implement new technologies, supporting business case development and design, through to go-live. Her experience includes leading multiple workstreams, managing global teams, redesigning end-to-end processes and managing the nuances of operating model redesign alongside technology change. Both Abbie and Tate look forward to leveraging their experience to help Berkeley’s clients tackle challenges and achieve their goals.
The Berkeley Partnership team was thrilled to attend the Great Place To Work Awards, where we were recognised as the highest ranking mid sized management consultancy. We placed 17th out of 100 organisations in our category - a fantastic result that reflects the ongoing commitment we’re making as a firm to further strengthen our culture and employee experience. Congratulations to all the organisations recognised this year.
As part of our commitment to supporting women-owned businesses, the Women@Berkeley Network chose Darjeeling Express, founded by Asma Khan and led by an all-female team of chefs, as the venue for our International Women’s Day celebration in London. It was truly inspiring to hear from Asma herself, who shared her story of overcoming adversity to establish her business and her mission to champion women. Thank you to our partner sponsors Nicola Fage, Jenna Goldstein, and Sameera Simjee for hosting such a wonderful event, allowing our women to celebrate together and connect.
