Congratulations to Philip Aspin and Andrew Anderson who have both received promotions within our Costs and Debt Recovery Team. 🙌🏼 Phil, who has been with the company for more than 10 years, moves to become Team Manager, while Andrew, who had excelled in a secondment as Team Leader, maintains that previous position. Phil said: “The business has supported me throughout my time here, hence why I have been here for over a decade! Putting me through courses and qualifications, the company has provided me with a huge number of opportunities which I will always be grateful for."
Our Vehicle Damage Pre-Litigation team has recently promoted three members of staff to team leaders. Nathan Craigs, Elysia Smith and Catriona Jurmakova (not pictured) have all received a well-deserved promotion to Team Leaders! This is a testament to their hard work and they have demonstrated their readiness to progress their careers during their time here at Winn Group.
Seven more of our employees started their SQE Apprenticeship journey at the University of Law last week. This includes Brad, Patricia, Jack, Laura, Finn, Phoebe and Sherisse who have all been inducted into the Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme. This marks a great milestone in their careers, and we can't wait to see what they will achieve here at Winn Group. 👏🏼

Jodie Daley a Legal Clerk in our Vehicle Damage team, was gifted chocolates and a lovely card from her client yesterday as a token of appreciation for her hard work and guidance during her claim. This just shows the dedication of our hardworking staff, who leave a lasting impact on our clients even in situations that we know can be stressful! 🚗 All of our teams throughout Winn Group do a wonderful job of reassuring our clients and we consistently receive 5-star feedback.
We held a Graduate Open Day event for Newcastle University students and the day was a success! The event was led by Rebecca Colby, Associate Director and Head of Vehicle Damage (Post-Litigation), who provided valuable information about life at Winn Group and the career progression opportunities we offer to our staff. Catherine Walker, our Portal Manager, discussed the Personal Injury side of the business and explained what being a PI Lawyer entails. Followed by, Rebecca who covered topics such as Legal Skills including tips about Negotiations, Protocols, Litigation, and Evidence, alongside why she loves working at Winn Group, which was great information for the graduates. This was followed by a Q&A session where Josef Lythe, Solicitor and Natasha Askew, Trainee Solicitor, answered all the questions provided by the graduates!
Emma and Simon have achieved their Personal Injury accreditation through the Law Society. Holding this accreditation is a mark of excellence and trust as only eight solicitors in the North East Hold PI accreditation, with three of them working at Winns!
What a night at our First Annual Winn Group Awards night. held at the Civic Centre on Friday 2nd February. The night was a success, celebrating our wonderful staff's achievements and all of their hard work. A huge congratulations to all those shortlisted and of course our worthy winners.
