Celebrating Female Leadership here at Zest! Did you know? 42% of female employees at Zest are in management positions, beating the men by a whopping 10%! A massive shout out to our Ladies who Lead!
We’re expanding! Last week we were busy moving to our brand new Zest Hub, an extension of Zest HQ. A massive thank you to the guys at movingproltd for all their help moving us into the new building and a special mention to Christine Mooring for making it all possible. Here’s to an exciting future at Zest Hub!
It's not all work here at Zest - Last weekend we all woke our inner child for board games night, including a Connect 4 tournament. A great way to connect our people and blow off steam after a hard weeks work!
We not only offer great salaries and bonuses, we also run quarterly incentives. This time it was the "Village fete" with shoot a duck, egg & spoon race, musical chairs, darts, hopper racing and so much more - all for large cash prizes!
We may be heading into Autumn but we can reminisce about our recent Zest summer party - any excuse to enjoy a social event together with a band, chilli tasting games, amazing food, dancing and maybe a little too much tequila!
Last Friday we held our annual coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Our avid bakers made some incredible treats and it’s safe to say they went down very well. In total, we raised a fantastic £486 for a brilliant cause. Thank you to everyone who donated! Another fantastic milestone reached last week by our fantastic Accounts Assistant, Michael Brillant, who celebrated 10 years with Zest. Thank you for all the hard work you have put in over the last decade. We asked Michael a few questions about his time here at Zest and here are some of his answers: Q. What was your job role when you first started at Zest? M. I first started in the Sales department. Q. How do you feel the company has evolved over the past 10 years since you’ve been here? M. I feel they have made good progress overall, offering customers a good insurance policy & Zest has of recent times started to invest time & opportunities in their own staff which I feel is important. Q. What’s your biggest achievement since working at Zest? M. I would say taking a risk in a new career path & Zest taking note which ultimately led to me landing a job in Finance.
We’d like to wish Natalie Willis a happy Zest anniversary as she celebrated 13 years with the company last week! Natalie works incredibly hard and is an asset to the company – a big thank you from everyone at Zest. We asked her some questions to find out how she feels Zest has evolved over the past 13 years. Here are a couple of her answers: Q. How do you feel the company has evolved over the past 7 years since you’ve been here? N. It has been incredible to have been part of the company’s evolution and to see the company go from strength to strength. Zest continues to level up, with exciting times ahead. Zest has evolved in so many ways in the past seven years by enhancing systems, appointing, and creating new roles to drive the business forward, to define our values and behaviours. Q. What’s your favourite part of working for Zest? N. The people at zest are simply the best, everyone is so supportive and truly cares for our customers, the business, and one another. #team #celebration #zest #finance #anniversary
