Together with The LEGO Foundation, we’re supporting a volunteer-driven project to help children cope with the intimidating process of having a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan. We want to give away 600 LEGO® MRI scanners to the first hospitals that apply and fulfil the criteria. ❤️ Kudos to our colleague Erik Ullerlund Stæhr who started this in 2015 as a passion project together with Odense University Hospital, Denmark. Erik said: "I’ve seen first-hand how children have responded to these models; making them feel more relaxed and turning an often highly stressful experience into a positive, playful one. From making a few LEGO MRI models with other LEGO employees in our free time, it’s amazing to see the project now being rolled out more broadly.” Read more about the project and how hospitals can apply for their own LEGO MRI Scanner. #LearningthroughPlay #LEGOFoundation #LEGOGroup

In the 90th year of the LEGO® brand, The LEGO Foundation is launching a 900 million DKK (USD 143 million) Build a World of Play Challenge. It’s an open call to share impactful solutions that centre on children from birth to six. ❤️ Play has a crucial role in supporting children’s early learning and development. When we give children the best start in life, the benefits are huge, for children themselves and for society. We encourage organisations around the world – big and small – to join this challenge. #BuildAWorldOfPlay #EarlyChildhood #LearningThroughPlay
