How do employees feel about Boots's policy around taking breaks?

Flexible hours, flexible breaks, good pay, nice team members

Can get very hectic when busy, lots of theft, customers can get rude in busy environments, unpaid breaks

The location was excellent and convenient - easy to get to and lunch breaks were long for longer days so staff well being is supported. Management was great and supportive,

Really hard to get overtime and salary could be better. No security on shop floor to handle shoplifters.

Regular fair breaks - I did 5 hour shifts and had a 30 min break, others who did 7-8 hours got 1 hour lunch break and 30 mins in the afternoon I have a disability and used a handheld fan or neck fan and they never minded, so I think fairly inclusive and supportive of those with disabilities Supportive and friendly atmosphere amongst fellow sales assistant and temps, most managers were friendly and helpful too Would have stayed there longer if it hadn't been a temporary contact

It was quite gossipy Very busy and fast paced until Christmas - last week or so of contract there wasn't loads to do Some people didn't like the long breaks because you would be at work for a longer time Some miscommunication between managers and supervisors but it was a busy time of year
