Does Lloyds Banking Group offer relocation assistance?
Pros
Given stretching tasks that will help you develop. Very knowledgeable people. Supported financially through ACCA. Great pension and benefits package. Plenty of opportunity to liaise with senior people across the business in a practical way through business as usual tasks. The job is varied and it is possible to develop many new competencies while working here.
Cons
Often long hours with no overtime pay or time in lieu. People working over 45 hours a week is not uncommon and some are studying ACCA on top of that. I have seen managers work in excess of 72 hours a week for several weeks at a time during peak periods.
Advice to Management
I’d suggest thinking of ways for the business to take more responsibility for work life balance rather than suggesting that, for example, the staff go for a morning walk. Many genuinely don’t have time to live a healthy life due to expectations at work. Other than that, I’d say keep doing what you’re doing.
Great pension and benefits package.

Does Lloyds Banking Group offer dental insurance?
Pros
Decent work-life balance. There are some good benefits to working here - including: share options; a reasonable pension; health insurance and dental cover.
Cons
Limited opportunities for career progression. IT services are antiquated and notoriously slow and unreliable. Pay is low - I was particularly upset to be given no more than an entry level salary when I joined the company, despite having 2 good degrees to my name and some years in the workforce before changing careers.
Advice to Management
Please update IT hardware in branches and do something meaningful to resolve our slow, unreliable IT systems - they're an embarrassment. Furthermore, value the qualifications of your staff - it's not right to underpay someone with a university education.
