Does O2 offer massages?

Pros

Opportunity abounds within the company. Once you're in, it's very easy to move to experience any of the wide array of vocations in the company. The company is exceptionally empowering. On a scale of Audit to Google, O2 is an 8. They give you what you need to do your job to your best ability, and if you do your job better by wearing flip-flops and putting cheesestrings on your head, they'll enable that too. They communicate well. As you'd expect from a Telecommunications company, those in the lofty peaks of the Board and mildly less lofty slops of the SLT don't skimp on talking to the rest of the company. There's actually consistent events held with the main aim of allowing anyone to ask questions. Also, the Chicken Katsu they do in the canteen on Wednesdays is so incredibly good it should probably be illegal, or at least on some drug list somewhere.

Cons

The free coffee machines on the 1st floor are hot garbage. There's also some 'interesting management styles' at the middle management levels, which probably needs to be looked at. People who are exceptional at doing a job, but maybe not at managing human beings. And that Chicken Katsu from the Pro's list is TOO good. I've had withdrawal symptoms since COVID started.

Advice to Management

Senior Management needs to take a good look at middle management by giving freer access for junior management to communicate with Senior. I think there's accountability for every other level of the business, but Middle Management just seems to be getting overlooked.

Pros

- Staff discount / friends and family discount - Dental insurance - 14 week paternity leave - fun if you are working in a good store - mainly lovely customers - support from leadership (depends on store really) - free access to LinkedIn learning - bebrilliant to win prizes

Cons

- career progression is not equally presented to everyone (although have to admit it started to change recently) - some stores are way understaffed, so life-work balance is non-existing -terrible uniform, and although the company provides PPE such as visor or snoods, they are really uncomfortable to wear, other retailers like Zara, Vodafone etc provides normal reusable masks, but in O2 retail we can only wear the ones which was provided by the company... no comment
