Interview
The interview process was thorough and well-organised. The HR team were really communicative and especially helpful in expressing the needs of the role prior to the interview and stating the expectations needed. The interview was relaxed, and I don’t think the AECOM Lighting Team approached it with anything that would be hard to answer unless you were unprepared for the questions. If anyone in the future attends an AECOM interview down that road, as long as they believe you have the skills and can answer the questions, you will be a great fit. Overall, it took about 45 minutes to an hour. Asking a mix of about 10/15 questions from about 3-4 different members of the team, including Director/proposed line managers and so forth. The only reason I did not go with them, in the end, was that their salary expectations were lower than those of other companies I have received from, but if you want to get that exposure to the industry, AECOM would be the perfect start for you.

Question 1
Why do you want to join the AECOM Lighting Team specifically?
Some other questions were personally tailored, like hobbies and what you do in your free time, but this is purely speculative of how you answer them and your communication skills.
