I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AECOM (London, England) in Mar 2016
Interview
Technical question: I had to design the layout of a new road connecting two towns, explain why I chose that alignment and what factor I'd have to consider for the design. Then answer a few following questions about town planning and infrastructure planning related topics.
They asked me to write a short essay about a personal topic out of a proposed list.
The personal interview was both skills related and technical. First they asked me to explain what I had done to the date and why I chose transport planning.

Interview
Well communicated and forward process. Interviewers were accommodating and nice, making the interview process less intimidating and conversational. Interviewers felt genuine and interested in my answer, giving a personal touch to the interview. There was a technical part at the end, which they sent in the brief an hour before.
I applied online. I interviewed at AECOM (Bristol, England) in Jan 2024
Interview
Good actual interview, however extremely poor communication. Ignored me for over a month before the interview to organise the date, then I had to get in touch over a month after my interview to hear the news, after being told I would hear back within the week.
It was a fair interview. I am still waiting for feedback from the team. I was asked some genrric or behavioural interview questions. I was also asked about the transport plan policy for the UK.
