The entire interview process was good. Had 2 interviews and I was told I was hired shortly after. The interviewer asked generic interview questions and also questions about how you manage you own tasks.
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Batavia, IL) in Oct 2023
Interview
Long process to fill out and then a 30 minute pre screen interview. I made it to the second interview with management and HR. It lasted about and hour. Normal interview questions. Not much feedback from your answers to their questions, just uncomfortable silences.

Question 1
How do you fit into the ALDI organization? Where do you see yourself in 5 years, 10 years?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI in Feb 2023
Interview
The interview process was very long and lengthy. I applied online, was sent an email about moving forward the same week. I had a phone screening with the recruiter. I was moved forward to the first interview with the Direct National Buyer. They were both nice. I move on to a second interview. Here is where I am very upset about things; before my second interview, they have a presentation about recruitment and benefits. They tell me everything they offer regarding benefits and salary, a detailed tour of the company itself. Then I have an hour interview with two people in the department. One was the same person from before and a new person. This is all via Teams. After that I was told I would hear the following week, I was reached out to immediately about references. I sent them in, and according to my references, they didn’t get a call until a week after I sent them in. Finally, the week they were reached out, I was sent an email on Friday from the recruiter regarding next steps, but then backtracked and said they were waiting for one more reference check and they would get back to me by end of day. Friday came and went. I emailed Monday, nothing came back. I emailed the person I interviewed with on Wednesday in the morning and by the afternoon, I get a rejection email. This whole process was long, but VERY confusing by the end. I was ignored and then sent an automatic email regarding them moving on with someone else. I felt very led on and they made it seem like I had the position. Why would they share benefits/pay/perks with someone who isn’t getting the job? It doesn’t seem right to be ignored by the recruiter you have been working with for almost a month.
