Interview
The whole process took approx. 3 weeks. First, you need to fill out the online application form which takes 60-90 minutes (but you can save your information and complete the rest later), with basic information about yourself, your previous job experience and education as well as 19 questions where you need to pick the best and the worst option out of 4. After completing this successfully, you will get an email inviting you to the group assessment. I received the email 1 week later(on Tuesday) inviting me to the assessment 4 days later (Saturday). There were 4 of us in the group (more groups earlier on) with an area manager leading the interview and an assistant store manager was also present. Basically, we discussed the job, what we knew about Aldi, why we wanted to work there and so on. Then we got 5-10 minutes for an easy math test with 20 questions (like 49+65+17 or 74x6). In the end the store manager shown around the store. The assessment took little less than 1 hour. In case of success you receive a phone call, if unsuccessful an e-mail saying that you can apply again in 6 months.

How is Aldi different from other supermarket chains?
Had a group online interview and I felt it was very hard to get any point across and it felt very over the top and the process seemed too long for what the job actually was
Started as a group where we were educated on the history and benefits about working at ALDI, and were asked what we think working at ALDI is like. Seemed like a good company with fair pay. The individual interview itself only asked availability.
I was first givwn the opportunity to join a group assessment, which I passed. I was then asked to attend a face-to-face interview, in-store but the manager did not come into work that day and I was asked to rearrange the interview after waiting for over an hour. Another applicant also turned uo and waited 30 minutes after I arrived
