I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI
Interview
Applied online and invited to a group interview at a store within the region. Arrived into store and asked a member of staff that was stacking shelves for directions of where to go. Waiting room was the staff canteen which was clean and orderly so made a good impression of the staff values and company cleanliness. Only 4 out of the 6 scheduled applicants arrived. It quickly became clear we were not all applying for the same position and that store assistants were interviewing at the same time and all for different stores. Regional manager and a second college who was training passed through to set up the meeting room. We were then called in and told to take a seat with 2 sheets of paper in front of us that we must not turn over. Began with a brief intro of ourselves (name /where applied and why/ current employment or lack of /something about you) followed by what do you know about Aldi? Where the regional manager gave more company info. Group exercise to arrange events into order and then discuss and give reasons why. Then a short multiple choice test similar to the online test. Finished with do you have any questions. Overall not a bad experience compared to what some reviews have said previously. Heard back quickly within 3 days.

A lot of Questions so it wasn't easy, but for someone with experience quite okay. Could recommend. Management and area were super nice and professional. Try not to say any stupid things.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Newbury, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
Laid back and non invasive. Big pressure on efficiency and numbers etc. Two senior leaders there on the day. Overall positive. Can be daunting to the untrained eye. Would recommend
