I applied online. I interviewed at AT&T (Dallas, TX) in May 2024
Interview
I went into the first interview disinterested in the role and wasn’t persuaded after to continue. My bais aside, the experience was very straightforward and underwhelming. Overall the interview seems to accurately represents a common idea by those have worked in the role. In a company like AT&T you are just another number. A lack of personality or human connection overall was felt in my interview. Which albeit, this is a transactional interaction but still there’s no emphasis on them trying to sell the role. Quite ironic that they don’t attempt to sell the sales roles.
My interviewer was nice enough and cordial throughout the process, but not prepared. Im used to interviewers asking multiple questions that can be found on a resume but still it’s a lackluster experience. She also had her camera off which I find odd and really sold me that I wouldn’t be interested in the job. The interviewer read a script and there was no real conversation, it could have been a robot conducting the interview for all I care.
As for the difficulty of the interview, not bad at all. The job is sales and the questions they ask are to gauge personality and confidence. No difficult questions are asked and if prepared the first interview should be a breeze.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Dallas-Fort Worth)
Interview
First round was with a recruiter a the final was with a manager in my area, although the final round got rescheduled four times. I would recommend going over the sales pipeline and consultative sales for these interviews.
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AT&T (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2025
Interview
Straightforward process. It was three rounds. The first was an online assessment, second was a recruiter screening, and the third was an interview with a hiring manager where you had to essentially sell yourself via presentation.
