I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AT&T (Houston, TX) in Oct 2015
Interview
Everyone in one room to hear supervisors describe briefly about job expectations, conditions, requirements, etc....then go into one on one interviews where there are about three or four questions asked...mostly about how you have or will handle a situation in where a customer or other individual was upset...if you do well in this process they will give you a conditional job offer immediately and you will follow instructions and start process of trying to get hired.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you handle an Irate customer when you show up at there house.
Test first then formal interview. The interview was pretty basic, had no prior technician work but they tech you and make sure your moldable. Process wasn’t too long and started working pretty quickly
It was ok kinda long. Lots of waiting for responses. had to wait awhile for any answers. The process got better when I got a new contact. Once that happened it was much faster
It was a rigorous process that took several days. Prior to interview a knowledge test has to be taken. After passing test, taken to a room to wait until a person conducts one on one interview.
