I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Raleigh, NC) in Jun 2009
Interview
Got called in for a group interview of about 10 or so other people. They (the managers of Abercrombie and Fitch, Abercrombie kids, and Hollister) asked very basic questions. Tell us a little bit about yourself? Name, age, where do you go to school, why do you want to work at A&F? In the mist of all that some of the managers are walking around with a clip board, after I got the job I found out that we were ranked (1-10) by our appeal level.

Interview
The interview felt distant and impersonal because it was conducted online. It did not seem very hopeful and felt more like an automated process than a genuine opportunity to connect with employers.

Question 1
What trend do you like at the store and how you would sell it to a customer?
Super simple and casual interview. Not too complex and very normal conversation. Heard back within a day and got hired, filled out tax papers and everything, and never got another call about orientation. It's been 6 months.

Interview
Pre-recorded interview but you only get 30 seconds to prepare each question. Fairly easy, but only get one chance to film it. Not a face to face interview though. Good luck!
