The hiring manager was great and interview with him was excellent. He communicated the positive feedback immediately and was very interested in my candidacy.
The downfall is the line on interviews with team members who are provided a set of questions to gauge if the candidate is a good cultural fit. This is where the whole D&I policy seems BS because the team is looking for minions and not a diverse candidate since they want someone to fit in their mould . What is cultural fit? Culture should be something that is all inclusive and here it seems like there is just a set mold of young folks with bohemian attitude and if you are not that they reject you. They are not interested in the experience and diversity you will be bringing to the table.
So at the end of the day even through the hiring manager wanted to hire me, he couldn't because of this BS process.
