    I worked at Airbnb full-time

    Pros

Great culture, amazing product, some nice benefits. Good location.

    Cons

Most sales related roles aren't challenging. The product spreads mainly by word of mouth, and the through the odd partnership. The UK office was so far detached from HQ that all the decisions were centralised with no creative authority being given outside of the US. Pay was low but that's the price you pay to work for one of the top tech brands on the planet.

    Advice to Management

Empower satellite offices to make decisions. Give employees a roadmap and incentives to stay and progress through the company.

    Pros

You have some great execs who came in with leadership experience running a big team whom you can learn from.

    Cons

The HR leadership team is very political, short sighted and never spend any time with the team coaching, guiding and role modeling the core values of the company.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the HR leadership team

I have been working at Airbnb full-time

    Pros

Exciting and ambitious company, good people, fun and friendly atmosphere, office trips, travel coupon perk.

    Cons

Minimum amount of holidays, gaps between the local offices and San Francisco headquarter, lack of processes and structure can result in chaos.

    Advice to Management

Create and provide better structure for the team and communication. Improve connection and communication between the local office and San Francisco.

    Pros

A good salary... Friendly senior.... Considered working hours..... And a condusive working environment.Almost all the good expectations a ln employee expects are met here.

    Cons

The location of the central office is not well established, sometimes hard to reach incase of hard traffic. And.employees appreciation is not employed as a motivation means

    Advice to Management

Try to Appreciate and show your employees that they do matter

    I worked at Airbnb full-time

    Pros

Great environment and competent management. Friendly colleagues.

    Cons

The job itself can be very challenging at times and training doesn't give you all the tools you need to deal with the customers.

    Advice to Management

Keep going like this! Maybe I would work on the training sessions to help employees in dealing with customers.

    Pros

Interesting work seeing the way different people live, pays mileage, commissions come to you, you don't have to go searching for them

    Cons

Derisory pay for quality of work demanded. No rise in three years. None of the benefits, such as subsidised travel, meals, healthcare, are offered to photographers. Although they say Airbnb is a team, we are always on the bench!

Photographs of quality, they say, make much more money for property owners, and therefore for the company. So why do we get treated so badly?

    Advice to Management

Show some appreciation for the photographers who are making you rich!

I have been working at Airbnb full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The interview process at Airbnb was super slick, super informative and ultimately made me realise I joined the best company. Short snappy and to the point Skype interviews to kick off the process were brilliant. On top of this the cross functional interviews made me truly understand the culture and what I was looking to be part of.

    Cons

Honestly, there weren't any. The communication and whole process was fantastic.

    Advice to Management

Continue doing such a great job, it really works and made me feel right at home throughout the process.
