I had an initial interview with an Associate-leveled Recruiter. It was extremely generic, very robotic, and seems like they couldn't follow along with the examples I gave. I told very clear stories and laid out examples of my work. It was for a Coordinator role, which I'm very well qualified for, and yet got rejected. I have another colleague that interviewed with this same person, and had the same experience (for an HR role). Definitely seems like they need to do more coaching of jr level staff members, especially for interviewing.
