I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England)
Interview
The process took around 4 weeks, having been interrupted by Christmas break. It all started with a video interview online (very strange, but somehow interesting), where I was asked to answer three questions. I could prepare 5 seconds for each question and answer in 30 seconds/question. The questions where something along the line of:
- Explain our business model
- What do you expect to learn from our summer internship?
- What caught your attention in the news recently and why?
After that I had a one-to-one interview in the London office. The guy was German, so that was a good coincidence (I'm Austrian). We got along very well, he basically asked me initially what I know about AlphaSights and then told me more. Then he went into my CV.
The last round was a 5 minute presentation about a case study. You get it beforehand and are supposed to research for two hours. The presentation went well, it was followed by a Q&A, basically they wanted to know how and where I got the info from. After that, I had a conversation with two more senior employees about my motivation and my CV.

very swift and seamless. The interview process was quick and efficient with constant communication for the team and the recruiter as well. I heard back quick after each interview section.
walk through of the resume. basic resume questions. why this role. what skills do u need for this role. why do u think u will be a good fit. what are some technical skills that you have
Interesting conversations. Behavioral + simulation case. If you know what the job is about and you have an interest you'll do well. Two rounds of interviews, first one was all behavioral, second one was both.
