I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Mar 2025
Interview
Interview was about 60-70% questions about my resume (specifically about the activities/projects I had participated in) and experience (e.g., Tell me about a time you handled a difficult situation). The other 30-40% was about the company and role specifically (e.g., How would you describe AlphaSights to family/friends?).
It might have just been the position, but if you aren't someone who is able to talk/think pretty fast, the interview probably won't feel super great. However, it was my first official internship interview so I wouldn't let my experience discourage you (especially if you do well with this style of interview).

Question 1
Q1: Tell me about a time you handled a difficult situation.
Q2: How would you describe what AlphaSights does to family and friends?
The interview process was straight-forward with a case study resulting after the initial interview with a recruiter. I would say overall was a unique experience with help along the way.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (Hong Kong) in Jan 2024
