I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Denver, CO) in Jun 2015
Interview
Amazon was a difficult interview. After applying online a HR recruiter reached out to me to take an online assessment. It was composed of something similar to an IQ test and a personality test. After completing the assessment, the HR recruiter set up 2 phone interviews with different employees at Amazon. One was a product manager and one was in the program I was applying to. The interviews were scheduled on the same day. Both asked similar questions. It was not a typical behavior type interview, ie tell me about a time, although those type did comprise 25% of the questions. Most were case study type questions. Such as what would you do if X was happening to a product line. Amazon is also concerned with data driven decisions so some questions revolved around it.
After finishing the two interviews I received a stock email saying thank you for you time, but we are moving forward with other candidates. I sent thank you emails to the 2 HR people who helped me and both did reply with your welcome, which was nice.
Overall neutral experience. I thought it was an interesting process.
Amazon is determine whether is should expand its services into another country, walk me through how you would determine to recommended or not recommend?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2020
Interview
Online application form, personality assessment, a simulation assessment, and then 2 separate interviews. Overall the process was straightforward and well organised. My only complaint is that you need to rank order the programs you're interested in. I wasn't interested the RLDP program but I selected it as my second option. They wanted me to move forward with the position but I was interested in FLD instead. Just make sure you understand which program you were selected to interview for - it may not be your top choice.

I took an online assessment and then was invited a couple months later to a first round of interviews ((two interviews, 45 minutes each). Two days later I was invited to a final round of interviews the following Monday (same formate as the first round; one of the interviewers was a senior director). Two days later I was notified of the final decision.
