    Pros

    Flexible with working from home
    innovative
high level of ownership given to people joining at entry level

    Cons

Frugality - this is one of the core principles but for a company that earns so much it should invest a little more back into its employees

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Good salary package and compensation
    - Great career progression opportunities
    - You get to work with people who are from different countries and wide range of backgrounds, it truly broadens my horizons

    Cons

    - Some of the colleagues do not want to help or share knowledge fearing that you would do better than them
    - Some of the senior management/Ops are too power hunger and would not listen or give you the opportunities to voice your concerns.
    - Sometimes it is more of who you know rather than what you know to help you climb up the career ladder within Amazon
-In-house training is either non-exist or very low qualities
    - Canteen foods are cheap, but horrible

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The workforce is mostly young and forward looking. The company is fast paced and adapts to change. Lots of opportunity to travel.

    Cons

Hires overqualified people for junior roles (but pays highly compared to competitors for these roles). Too many layers of management.

    Pros

Career progression and strong skill acquisition through daily tasks! It’s a company that is very fast paced! You never get bored in here!

    Cons

    Sometimes long hours! But enjoyable!

There is not much that I can say it is a cons at amazon! Everything is so people oriented!

    Advice to Management

Great managers! They really look into the team! Lovely ones!

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

At the bleeding edge of new technologies, business ideas, great people, great set of leadership principles, great culture, so many opportunities, your opinions matter - all the benefits of working at a huge enterprise but with the feel, drive and ambition of a start up! I love it!

    Cons

You get what you give, expect to work hard, face challenges but then reap the rewards for doing so!

    Advice to Management

Don't lose the culture, customer obsession before sales!

I worked at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Best part of working here is the social aspect. You meet loads of people and possibly make new friends. Loads of jokes to share.

    Cons

They don't care about you. It is a massive company so you're just a number to them. The way they measure productivity is flawed and when I confronted management about it, they just gave me a non-answer. I didn't care enough to argue since I was leaving in two weeks anyway.

    Advice to Management

Respect your employees' problems. Employees work better when they are treated well. If they are shown no respect, they retaliate by performing the job badly. It's a very physically demanding job so naturally people become fatigued, especially who aren't very fit.

    Pros

    Share options, associates are great.

    Cons

Unprofessional biased senior management do not like people with opposing views

    Advice to Management

Get off your high horses. Stop hiring like minded people from same backgrounds

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Amazon hires great people and tries to unleash their full potential. I feel I've accomplished more in 4 years at AWS than in my entire previous career, yet I also see there is so much more I can do here.

    Cons

I personally love it, but I have seen people come in who are used to being known as the "Rock Star" or the top performer and found it difficult or impossible to adjust to being average at Amazon.
