Internal job posting. Panel interview with the department leadership team including the Vice President and multiple Directors to assess the candidate's business and technical knowledge, as well as how they conduct themselves in certain situations. Additional follow-up inquiries were conducted with the team's Managerial staff to collect their knowledge, experiences and input about the respective candidates. The leadership team allowed the staff to weigh in on the candidate selection process.

Tell us about a time when you had a conflict with another employee. What was the nature of the conflict? How did you handle it? What was the outcome and what did you learn from it?
The interview process was smooth and swift. It's just the fact that I got ghosted. They said they would notify me in a week if I got a second interview, and the following week, they said they hoped to have someone picked. It's been four weeks, and I have heard nothing. I even emailed them and still didn't receive a response.

I only made it through the initial phone screening. I was very excited since AMEX is known for great work life balance. My interviewer was a former EA who gleamed about flexibility within the company and the HR Team.

Emailed automatic rejection after not a peep for over a week after final interview. Such a crappy and impersonal experience
