      Graduate Engineer Interview

      6 Mar 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Arup (London, England) in Nov 2016

      Interview

Telephone interview took about 40 minutes, including some situational judgement & behavioral questions. After the phone interview, I was informed I would be progressed to the next stage of our recruitment process, which is a review of applications with the Hiring Managers. I was not invited to attend the assessment centre. Then, wait about one month, they informed me that since I would require Tier 2 sponsorship and the role I have applied for is not deemed to be business critical and therefore they are unable to provide any Certificates of Sponsorship for this role, therefore, they would not be able to progress my application for this role.

      Interview

This is honestly the worst experience I have ever had with any company ever, no fault with the company but their hr team needs to get fired immediately. They completely wronged me last year for my internship applications and now they did the same for the graduate. Asked for feedback (which they offered in an email) about 5 times and was repeatedly ignored.
