The hiring process wasn't that complicated. I made an online submission at the Arup vacancy site with my cover letter, CV and academic results. I did not have an online assessment nor did i have to attend an assessment centre. I was then emailed a couple of times regarding the different stages of the application and finally was invited for an interview. This took about 4 months (i made the application in December and was invited for the interview in may the following year). I was interviewed by 2 directors (both senior structural engineers) at the liverpool office. The interview was not as nerve wrecking as i thought it would be. They as me to bring some courseworks and project work along with me to the interview. I was then asked a few question on what i wrote on my cover letter and cv and then a few technical questions on my courseworks and project work.
