I was called by an HR representative a few hours after I applied for the position advertised on LinkedIn.We had a 10 minutes free discussion about things which motivated me to apply for that position. She informed me about the further application process, where a language test and a logical thinking test would be taken. The written language test was an average/easy level, for the spoken language test I had a phone conversation with one of the colleagues already working in the Nordics team, who was not a native speaker either.
The logical cognition test was sent online, where you had to find solution as quick as possible to some 30 items asking you to chose from multiple choice images the one which fitted best in the row. you got the feedback on the test immediately after completion time ran out. I found it challenging and not easy.
A Skype interview with the Team Lead was scheduled. During this interview, more like a monologue interview, I was asked by the HR representative who contacted me the 1st time to present myself to the Team Lead , my professional pathway and my motivation for this position in Budapest.Actually I repeated the same things I discussed with the HR before. One peculiar thing which stroke me during this Skype interview was that the Team Lead seemed very rutinated, wasnt really interested in knowing me as a worker and was yawning all the time. He even stopped me one time this happened to explain that the yawning occurs to him all the time during the online interviews of the new joiners. I have to admit it shocked me a bit, but I really wanted the job, and I didnt comment anything about it. Unfortunatelly it proved later on to be a valuable information about this Team Lead.
