    Pros

    You can jumpstart your career, good internal opportunities

    Cons

    You are just an exploitable number in the system. They do nothing but catching up to the technological mainstream, but proposed as innovation. They expect improvement but not willing to commit and step out of their comfort zone.

    I have been working at Avis Budget Group full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Some work flexibility; Great people/colleagues; Free coffee;

    Cons

    Very poor or inexistente culture; Dreadful Management; Older employees always looking for others to fail; No support to new ideas; People management is a mirage - people are handled as if they were there to serve the managers; Money is spent in projects with no accountability resulting in failed results or projects not even being concluded; High level management always looking to dodge responsibilities and... just being concerned with “noise” from business (not a surprise if people and even mid level managers keep resigning); Higher management just interested in traveling around but no vision or strategy exists or is shared with those that really do the job; No business vision; Technology used is old and dependent on US teams that do not support it properly; No real careers perspectives, areas are being outsourced and current affect employees only get to know about it by email;

    Advice to Management

    Please resign and let those that really care for the company to drive it into the future. People are the most valuable asset, stop treating them as meaningful slaves.
