    Pros

The biggest pro is the people, there is a certain type of people that stay in the company and make it a great place to work.

    Cons

Still adapting to the new very american culture having been two independent entities for many years.

    Advice to Management

Don't under estimate the value of people with knowledge of the legacy systems like Wizard

    Pros

Fun work environment, really nice office (refurbished), challenging but exciting role, opportunities to get involved in other departmental projects.

    Cons

Some tasks can be quite repetitive, but overall this is a very interesting role.

I worked at Avis Budget Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits, bonuses, pay. It's a large and established corporation that provides a very good structure at every level. Training is available, there is an opportunity to move between departments and progress, although there is some competition and you have to fight your way to the top.
Overall great business to work in, and to understand how such organisations function.

    Cons

As a large business, things take a very long time to get done due to formalities, having to jump through hoops and for digital marketing that is simply counter-intuitive. Test & learn is not a company motto.
As with big businesses, there is a lot of politics and gossip that can lead to wrongful decision-making, especially at senior management/director level.
Big cultural rift between Europe and US offices, very America-centric when it comes to business decisions.

    Advice to Management

Weed out the BS, focus on numbers and listen to your teams more. In the digital sphere be willing to roll out new features, campaigns and initiatives fast, test, learn and implement changes fast to keep up to speed with tech developments.

    Pros

Good for university graduates as it gives a perspective on working in a large enterprise
Good work/life balance - work/life balance is good

    Cons

Managers are too young and not properly prepared to lead by example.
    HR is inexistent
No possibility to climb the corporate ladder as the job allows only for 1 promotion max (from analyst to senior analyst)
    Location is terrible
Little benefits (not even half the price discount on car rentals...) with no transportation benefit
    Declining industry with little future
