After my application, I have been contacted by someone from the HR to arrange an interview date. The interview was face-to-face but it wasn't your avarage conversation type process. The hiring manager had a form, that had to be followed precisely to stand any chance for success. if the question on the form asked "describe me where you done X" then you better not deviete from X as this will not be looked at favourably.
