Barnett Waddingham Graduate Software Developer interview questions

The interview process is a 1 hour live coding interview, where the candidate is asked to implement some functionality for an exististing piece of software, followed by a face-to-face-interview. There are several reasons as to why I have rated this a negative experience: 1. The coding interview is in a programming language that they pick(*). 2. The coding challenge is something you'd see given to a mid-level software developer. 3. The coding challenge is poorly written. 4. The interviewer was 15 minutes late. 5. The were several occasions where an e-mail was sent to me by accident or was responded to late. * If you don't know the language, too bad! I did not hesistate to withdraw from the interview. Your time is better spent elsewhere, at a company that takes its hiring process more seriously.
