I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boeing (Everett, WA) in Dec 2010
Interview
I applied online for absolutely everything that I thought I was qualified for at all (15 positions still pending). There were no hits until I started loading my resume with keywords. They must use a database search to find people. After they select you, then you will get a chance to submit a second resume. So it's okay to fib a little on the first one especially for entry level work.
They had a hiring event and I got flown up to Seattle Washington they paid for the ride and hotel. There were tons of people there for the event. I came up the night before got on the Boeing bus the next day a couple hours before my first interview. You go in sign up at the table and wait for your name to be called. Then they take you back to the interview room. There were two people there one had been with the company 30 years, the other had been there 20. They start out saying that it is a structured interview, you will be asked the same questions as everyone else, etc.
Pro tip: There are five total questions. The first is free answer. Short points about what background you have that relates to the job. In the other four, use the STAR method. Also, if you go back and look at the job posting, then you will notice the General section under Competencies. The questions they ask relate to the Generals Section. So be ready to answer a question about Communication, Collaboration, Decision Making, Customer Focus, etc. Go through those sections and make sure your answer touches on the key points.

I applied through university. I interviewed at Boeing (Moscow, ID) in Oct 2025
Interview
simple personal questions using STAR method. Asked about my background and how it would benefit the company. Previous experiences and challenges. Overall was a good interview. Seemed to go well.
Structured STAR interview with panel. Standard questions and relatively rigid process. Questions are behavioral and what you would expect from a larger corporate company that does defense and commercial work.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boeing (Everett, WA) in May 2024
Interview
No pre-screen. Single interview with hiring managers through Webex. 1 hour with STAR format. Got an offer about 2 weeks later. I was surprised by no 2nd round interview or on-site interview.
