The job interview process is well described during the first conversation with the recruiting team. Everyone during the interview was very professional but still friendly and able to make you comfortable without pushing too much when having a moment of uncertainty. Overall great experience that shows the good culture of the company

Interview
Initial phone screening, followed by tech interview, then offer to interview on-site in Amsterdam. An offer was made immediately after the on-site interviews.
I felt that the interview did a good job of vetting my skills. After, I felt that Booking.com had the necessary information to decide whether to hire me. And they did give me an offer, which I accepted.
After the job was accepted, however, I was informed that the position I had applied for (Team Lead) would not be my starting title--that I would have to be promoted to this position later. This didn't offend me, as I wasn't interested in a lead position, but many other colleagues have felt quite betrayed by this practice of Booking.com. If you interview here, ask up front what your starting title will be.
