Normal , they take you in the back and ask you questions, lasted about 15-20mins. I would say to ensure you show you have a lot of availability as that is why I was rejected

Applied online through indeed then the company website, then there's a shirt assessment and if passed you get an in person interview. Although this is not what happened I was told to be at cardiff queen street boots at 12pm 31st Oct 2025, I arrived early as instructed on the email. I was told after around 15 mins of waiting that I wasn't on the list for interviews at 12pm and theh are all being held as a group interview at 4pm. I was asked to show my email after another woman accused me of getting stores confused (which I didn't ) and it was established I was infact in the correct store but they sent me the incorrect time on the email. I was taken to the deputy managers office where she printed off a interview pack and we went through my availability, my past employment, why I want to work there and why they should hire me She even went on to say I'd be offered fragrance or operations department took my number and left it at that. I asked if I needed stick to around for anything since mist xmas temp jobs you go to the shop floor and explain some offers and products to showcase your service skills to the manager however she said no I can go for the day and they will call me. I was then sent an abrupt email saying I wasn't successful and moments ago I had another saying a decision is still being made. I'm a little confused I then decided to apply for another store on their website and again did the assessment however this assessment was completely different the one I took not even a week previously. I'm a little shocked as I did work for boots in 2009 and 2013 whilst in college and it wasn't nearly as much of a mess.
