After the initial screening of the online application, I was invited to do the online tests. These were standard SHL numerical and logical tests.
Once you clear this stage, you get invited to the phone interview. Even though it was a consultant who was doing the interview, not an HR, the process was still super structured:he had a list of approx. 9 questions to go through and he was typing in my answers into the form. There were some standard questions about why consulting, why this position, and a list of personal fit questions e.g. your main weakness, your strengths, example of teamwork, etc.
About a week later, I got invited to the assessment centre. A week before the assessment centre, they give you a case that you have to present on the day. It's a lot of information to go through and a list of standard question: what are the key issues, how to increase revenue, decrease costs. You can present it as formal or informal as you prefer. I've done some slides, printed them out and brought them with me on the day. Some people draw staff on the flip-board while they present or just have an informal chat with the interviewer about it.
On the actual day, there are 2 main parts: group exercise and a 1to1 interview.
On a group exercise you read through some newspapers and then discuss what is relevant for Capgemini.
During the personal interview, you present your prepared case, have a couple of small on the spot tasks: one about Capgemini helping an insurance company to adopt to a new FCA regulation, and another one with a short P&L for three companies and some questions about it.
Then a list of personal fit questions similar to the phone interview. Something about implementing a change, being flexible, why the practice area you've chosen.
Everyone is very nice and friendly. During the day you get to meet a lot of people from the company and learn a lot. The assessment centre is run by a current grad, so it's very informal and you can ask a lot of questions.
Got an offer in less then a week after the assessment centre with detailed feedback over the phone.
